There’s something special on the horizon for the Upper Cumberland.

The 2026 Senior & Caregiver Expo, powered by UCDD and the Upper Cumberland Area Agency on Aging and Disability (AAAD), will be held on Tuesday, October 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Life Church in Cookeville. And this year, it’s bringing a little extra flair.

With the theme “Welcome to Resource City,” the Expo takes inspiration from Nashville’s country charm and bright neon energy, while keeping the focus on what matters most: connecting seniors, caregivers, and families with resources, support, and opportunities that make a real difference in their lives.

The 2025 Expo set a high bar, with more than 1,100 seniors, caregivers, vendors, staff, and volunteers attending and supporting the event. We are so grateful to everyone who made it such a success, and we can’t wait to welcome even more people to Resource City this October.

While more details about activities, vendors, and special features will be shared in the coming months, now is the perfect time to save the date. Organizations, businesses, and community partners interested in participating—whether through a booth, sponsorship, or other involvement—are encouraged to reach out to Lynn Drew and Carlee Bean.

Make plans to join us this October. In Resource City, every connection leads somewhere meaningful.
