At the heart of every thriving community lies a commitment to support and uplift its most vulnerable members. The Upper Cumberland Adult Abuse Coalition (UCAAC) embodies this spirit of compassion and solidarity by organizing a donation drive aimed at providing essential assistance and resources to vulnerable adults in our community. This initiative is not merely an act of charity; it is a collective effort to improve the well-being and quality of life for those who need it most.

Members of the UCAAC recognize the critical importance of standing together to support vulnerable adults in our region. In light of this, they have launched a donation drive with a clear and ambitious goal: to gather essential items that can significantly impact the lives of those in need. From now until Dec. 8, the UCAAC invites you to join them in making a positive difference by donating items such as laundry supplies, cleaning materials, bathroom and hygiene products, and small kitchen appliances.

The donation process is simple and accessible to everyone who wishes to contribute. UCAAC has established two convenient drop-off locations for donated items:

  • Upper Cumberland Development District (UCDD)
    • Address: 1104 England Drive, Cookeville, TN 38501
  • Your Local County Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA)

The UCAAC kindly requests that donated items be in good condition and suitable for use by vulnerable adults. When dropping off your donations, please ensure they are properly packaged and labeled for the safety and convenience of those who will benefit from your generosity.

Your contributions to this donation drive will play a pivotal role in providing essential support and care to the most vulnerable members of our Upper Cumberland community. Together, we have the power to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who often go unnoticed. By joining forces, we can ensure that no one is left behind, and every individual receives the assistance they deserve.

If you have any questions or need more information about the UCAAC donation drive, please contact Trent Carter. You can reach him by phone at 931-303-1649 or via email at tcarter@ucdd.org. Additionally, we have attached a flyer to this post that you can share with friends, family, and colleagues to help spread the word and increase the reach of this important initiative.
