The Upper Cumberland Development District/Area Agency on Aging and Disability has an opening for a Collaborative Response to End Self-neglect in Tennessee (CREST) Advocate. CREST provides emergency services for older (ages 60-plus) and vulnerable (ages 18-59) adults referred by Adult Protective Services who are suffering from abuse, neglect, and exploitation as well as self-neglect.

Requirements include:
• An undergraduate degree from a four (4) year college or university (preferred in health or social service field); and
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in social services, gerontology, or a related field; and
• Proficient computer skills; and
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; and
• Ability to travel regularly within the fourteen-county region; and
• Public speaking and outreach experience; and
• Pass an FBI fingerprint check
